Vincent Kompany, the head coach at Bayern Munich, has collapsed during training and is currently in the hospital. This has been reported by the German club in their X handle.

They say that Kompany was watching the second team’s training and needed some medical assistance.

The club said the coach would undergo a thorough examination in hospital and remain under medical care.

For now, his coaching staff will take charge of training sessions and match operations.

Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, said the club’s priority was Kompany’s health and recovery.

“The health of Vincent Kompany is our utmost priority. At FC Bayern, we will do everything to ensure he recovers quickly,” Eberl said.

He added that Kompany was receiving the necessary medical care and support, while his coaching team would assume his responsibilities.

“All of us at FC Bayern wish Vinnie a speedy recovery,” he said.
