Nollywood icon Olu Jacobs buried in Lagos
Veteran Nigerian actor Olu Jacobs has been laid to rest, with family members, friends, colleagues and other dignitaries gathering for his funeral service in Lagos on Friday.
The funeral service was held at This Present House Church in Lekki, where members of the entertainment industry came to pay their final respects to the late actor.
Among those who honoured Jacobs was entertainment entrepreneur Darey Art Alade, who performed his hit song Pray For Me, which featured Olu Jacobs and his wife, veteran actress Joke Silva.
The gathering provided an opportunity for colleagues, friends and loved ones to celebrate the life and legacy of the respected thespian.
The actor’s son, Olugbenga Jacobs, also presented his father’s biography during the funeral proceedings.
