Nigeria’s inflation rate drops slightly to 15.39%

Inflation rate in Nigeria dropped marginally to 15.39 percent in August 2026, from 15.43 percent in July.

According to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) report published by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Wednesday.

The latest figure represents a marginal decline of 0.04 percentage points from the previous month, indicating a slight easing in the country’s inflation rate.
