Rivers: Fubara names six Permanent Secretaries
The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has sanctioned the appointment of six new Permanent Secretaries into the civil service of the state.
The appointments have been made known through a press release issued by the Head of Service of Rivers State, Dr. Inyingi S. I. Brown.
As per the press release, the six new Permanent Secretaries include Mr. Freddy Ndigbara, Mrs. Fortune Akpila, Dr. Promise Oguzie, Mrs. Ibisoye Lolomari Nwankwo, Mrs. Ibiyemiebara Joseph Uzoma, and Mrs. Mercy Dagogo Iboroma.
According to the Head of Service, the six new Permanent Secretaries will take an oath from the Governor tomorrow, which is Wednesday.
“The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are to be seated by 12noon on Wednesday, 29th July, 2026, and will be sworn in by His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State, in the State Executive Council Chambers”, the statement added.
