How Peter Obi allegedly left Labour Party with ₦12bn, $15m — Arabambi
A new controversy has broken out between members of the Labour Party following revelations made by the factional National Publicity Secretary of the party, Arabambi Abayomi, against former presidential candidate Peter Obi.
In a statement given to Nevon HQ in an interview, Arabambi revealed that Peter Obi allegedly left the party with quite some amount of money when he left the party.
Arabambi says the Labour Party had ₦12 billion in one of their accounts and an extra $15 million in another one. He added that the matter remains in the air even today concerning how the money has been handled after Obi left the party.
The statement from the Labour Party chief is part of the many challenges that have been facing the party since its performance at the last 2023 general election.
