Several trapped as 3-storey building collapses in Lagos

A building that has three storeys has come crashing down in the Alakija region of Lagos, with some individuals trapped under the debris.

The eyewitness said the accident took place at around 11:40 a.m. today on Thursday.

The total number of victims trapped in the collapsed building could not be immediately known at the time of filing this story.

The rescue team had not yet gotten to the scene as at the time this news was reported, even though some residents of the area had gathered around it.

The reason for the collapsing of the building has not yet been established.
