England claim World Cup Bronze after 10-goal thriller against France

England claimed the bronze medal in the FIFA World Cup after a thrilling 6-4 win against France in the bronze medal game.

Declan Rice gave England the first goal followed by Ezri Konsa who headed a goal to make it two-nil. Bukayo Saka scored two more goals giving England an impressive 4-0 lead heading into the break.

In the second half of the game, France showed some resistance. This saw Kylian Mbappé score two goals becoming the top goalscorer in the FIFA World Cup tournament ahead of the golden boot race.

Bradley Barcola scored another goal for France, and Saka put away another goal from the penalty box, restoring the lead for England. Ousmane Dembélé scored the fourth goal for France, but Jude Bellingham scored his seventh goal of the tournament giving England a dominant 6-4 win in the game.

The win guarantees England the bronze medal in the FIFA World Cup tournament, while Mbappé leaves the tournament with another milestone in hand despite his team’s loss.
