Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya Emerges 33rd NBA President
Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has emerged as the 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), having garnered 12,317 votes, which accounts for 47.18 per cent of the total number of votes polled.
She outsmarted her two closet opponents, Lateef Akangbe (SAN), who garnered 7,934 votes, and Olumuyiwa Akinboro (SAN), who garnered 5,855 votes.
In addition to the new President, some other elected national officers are: Oghenero Okoro, who became the First Vice President, garnering 11,024 votes; Afam Okeke, the General Secretary, garnering 8,478 votes; Aghogho Gladys, who became the Assistant General Secretary, garnering 14,312 votes; and Chinelo Audrey O
