Governor Fubara signs N1.8trn Rivers 2026 budget into law

Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has signed the Appropriation Bill for 2026 after it was passed by the State House of Assembly.

The bill was passed by the Assembly on Thursday following the amendments to the financial document.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, had presented the bill to the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, at the Government House.

The signing brings the 2026 budget into effect, paving the way for its implementation across the state.
