Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised the pump price of premium motor spirit (petrol) amidst the recent fuel price increase recorded at the gantries by the Dangote Refinery.

According to a market survey carried out yesterday, NNPCL service stations in Abuja and other places have increased their petrol pump price from the former N1,295 per liter to the current N1,364.

There is therefore a rise in fuel price by N69 per liter, making the problem of rising fuel cost worse.

The new fuel prices have been implemented at Gwarimpa, Kubwa Expressway, Wuse Zone 6, and Zone 4 NNPCL filling stations in Abuja.

“We have increased our pump price to N1364 per liter from N1295 this morning,” said one of the attendants.

Other filling stations in Abuja like MRS, BOVAS, among others, have increased their petrol price to N1365-N1370 per liter.

Let’s recall that Dangote Refinery had on Wednesday increased their fuel price from N1200 per liter to N1275 per liter by N75 because of crude oil price above $115 per liter.
