Bandits abduct Kebbi High Court Judge in fresh attack
A band of armed robbers has kidnapped Judge Faruku Hassan Bunza of the High Court of Kebbi State from his abode in the Local Government Area of Bunza in the state.
According to reports, this incident happened on Sunday at the abode of the judge which is situated along Zogirma Road in Bunza.
As a reminder, the kidnappers acted just after the judge returned from Sokoto State.
Little information has been received regarding this incident, and no statement has yet been issued by the security organizations regarding the kidnapping and freeing of the judge.
“He had just returned from Sokoto when the gunmen stormed his residence and took him away,” a source said told our correspondent.
The source added that, although nobody in the house was hurt, the attackers were shooting sporadically before moving away with him.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kebbi State Command, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed the abduction.
