Dangote Refinery slashes petrol, diesel prices nationwide
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has made a new announcement reducing the prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) which is commonly referred to as petrol and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) which is also commonly known as diesel.
The refinery reduced the price of petrol from N1,215 to N1,165 per litre while it reduced the price of diesel from N1,650 to N1,570 per litre.
It should be noted that Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of PMS and AGO by N50 per litre and N80 per litre respectively.
The recent reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel by the mega refinery is anticipated to further reduce the price at the retail pumps.
Remember that the National President of Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN), Billy Gillis-Harry states that the prices of petroleum products will keep falling if landing cost keeps falling.
