ECOWAS opens recruitment for qualified nationals across multiple sectors, see how to apply

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has begun the process of recruiting qualified nationals of their member states in various professional, administrative, and technical sectors.

The regional body is seeking applications from eligible applicants who wish to apply for positions in their specialized institutions, which include the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice, ECOWAS Parliament, West African Health Organization (WAHO), and Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA).

ECOWAS Recruitment Age Requirements
Age limits depend on the category of the position being advertised.

General Services/Support positions (G1–G7): Applicants must be under 35 years.
Professional positions (P1–P7): Applicants must be under 45 years.
Director positions (D1–D2): Applicants must be under 50 years.
Candidates should confirm the grade and category of their preferred vacancy before applying.
