Ekiti 2026: ADC records early success as polling unit result emerges

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has emerged victorious for the first time in a polling unit during the ongoing gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.

The ADC emerged victorious in the polling unit in Ajagbala Hall in Okeruku Ward 02 in Ikere Local Government Area of the state.

According to the result sheet obtained by our reporter, ADC emerged victorious in the polling unit with 39 votes while All Progressives Congress, APC, polled 29 votes.

People’s Democratic Party, PDP, was third in the polling unit with 17 votes.

ADC candidate Dare Bejide sounded an alarm saying violence is being committed against their supporters.

According to Central Post Nigeria, results from various polling units have started trickling in.
