Abia State Former Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has officially handed over his Letters of Credence to King Felipe VI of Spain.

This marked the official taking over of duties by Ikpeazu as the Nigerian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.

Ikpeazu’s appointment followed President Bola Tinubu’s approval of the posting of ambassadors to 65 countries on March 6.

The former governor was among the diplomats selected by the President to represent Nigeria in various countries.

It will be recalled that the Nigerian Senate confirmed the ambassadors-designate last December.
