Gunmen kidnap wife, son of Kebbi APC chairman

The wife and son of the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Yusuf Alhasan, have been kidnapped by suspected bandits in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

This development has been revealed in a post made by security and conflict analyst Bakatsine on his social media handle, X.

According to Bakatsine, the alleged kidnappers attacked the residence of Yusuf Alhasan located in the Low-Cost area of Yauri at around midnight on Monday, abducting the two persons to an unknown destination.

So far there is no official statement from any security agency or the Kebbi State Government concerning the kidnapping.

Insecurity is once again becoming a matter of concern in some parts of Kebbi State, as kidnapping and violent attacks have continued to be witnessed.

At the time of writing this article, security officials had not made any statement in regard to the kidnapping, while the fate of the abducted individuals is still unknown.
