Feared bandit leader Kachalla dies in fierce gunfight in Zamfara
The infamous bandit kingpin, commonly referred to as Kachalla Sani Yellow, has been killed in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State by members of the Hunters’ group and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).
The bandit boss, according to reports, was neutralized following the defeat of the attack that the local security operatives put up against the armed bandits in the area.
Kachalla Sani Yellow was considered one of the major bandit leaders operating in the three Local Government Areas of Anka, Bukkuyum, and Maru in Zamfara State.
In addition, he was considered among the leaders of the bandits alleged to coordinate numerous raids against the communities in the North-West region of Nigeria.
Confirming the news, the spokesman for the Zamfara State Police Command, DSP Yazid Abubakar, revealed that the infamous bandit boss was killed in the process of the operation.
As a result, images believed to show the dead body of the notorious bandit became available on social media platforms. The pictures showed the dismembered body of the dead bandit kingpin.
More information about the operation and casualties has not been released so far.
