Former VP Atiku picks ADC presidential nomination form ahead of 2027 election
Ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar has secured the presidential nomination form of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as he continues his quest for the office of the president in the 2027 general elections.
According to sources, the ADC presidential nomination form was picked on behalf of Abubakar by his son Adamu Atiku as the ex-vice president was away from the country attending to some engagements internationally.
This move follows another similar development as seen earlier where former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, also secured the ADC presidential nomination form worth N90 million.
It is clear that there are many activities being witnessed within the ADC as prominent politicians are positioning themselves for the forthcoming 2027 election period.
Though no statement has been issued by party leaders regarding these developments, political analysts believe that the events may just be the beginning of more competitive primary season in the coming days.
The ADC has recently been receiving much publicity and media attention due to the internal changes going on in the opposition party block.
