APC releases screening schedule for Senate, House of Reps aspirants ahead of primaries
All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released the schedule for screening of aspirants who seek election into the Senate and House of Representatives.
This was made known on Friday via a press statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
“The screening of aspirants contesting for ticket to represent us in the senate shall take place on Monday, May 9th, 2026 and Tuesday, May 10th, 2026 at Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton Hotel) Abuja,” the statement read.
“Daily activities will commence from 10am.”
Candidates who wish to vie for positions in the House of Representatives will also have their screening at a different place, Treasures Suites and Conferences, Abuja, at the same dates.
“The screening of aspirants contesting for tickets to the House of Representatives seat shall also hold on Monday, May 9th and Tuesday, May 10th, 2026 at Treasures Suites and Conferences, Abuja. Daily activities shall commence from 10 am.”
It was advised that all aspirants should be punctual and have all the relevant materials with them.
According to Central Post Nigeria, the screening exercise is part of APC’s preparatory steps towards its party primaries.
