Two persons have been murdered by gunmen in Heipang district of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State while working at a mining site located near Kuru Jenta, which is on the border between Kuru Jenta in Jos South Local Government Area and Heipang.

The murder is said to have taken place at about 11:30pm on Friday.
