Atiku’s aide: Trump now aware of Tinubu’s alleged drug trafficking, $460,000 forfeiture files
Mr Paul Ibe, one of the aides of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, claims that President of the USA, Donald Trump, has been informed about documents from court on legal records of President Bola Tinubu in the United States.
This claim was made in a tweet by Paul Ibe on his X account on Wednesday, stating that the 60-page document of the US Department of Justice on heroin trafficking allegations and forfeiting of $460,000 have reached President Trump via a US lobbying firm, Batten Von.
Mr Ibe says that Nigerians should be aware of the entire information.
“Finally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s @officialABAT 60-page DOJ files on heroine trafficking and forfeiture of $460,000 has been brought to the attention of @realDonaldTrump courtesy of a US lobbyist firm, @batten_von.
“Manuel Noriega on my mind. Nigerians deserve to know the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The best is being saved for last,” he wrote.
Ibe did not provide evidence to support his claim that Trump had been briefed on the documents or state the nature of any action allegedly taken by the US president regarding the matter.
