Liverpool complete £123m Barcola transfer, making him Club’s second-costliest signing

Liverpool on Monday formally announced the signing of Bradley Barcola from PSG.

Barcola has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Anfield.

The Liverpool transfer fee is £106m for the Frenchman, with possible add-ons making the total cost up to £123m.

There had been a gap in valuation between the two clubs earlier in the summer, with PSG previously asking for around £145m for the France international.

But Barcola has now become Iraola’s third major signing of the summer after Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo.

Barcola becomes Liverpool’s second most expensive signing of all time, following the club-record deal to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle for £125m last summer.
