In a thrilling match between Manchester United and Chelsea, the Red Devils managed to win 1-0, securing themselves a precious three points at Stamford Bridge this Saturday.

This game proved to be one of high levels of intensity and tactics applied by the two teams in their quest for a better position on the league table. Even though both sides managed to create scoring opportunities, one of them had to take an initiative in order to break the deadlock, and that is exactly what happened right before the end of the first half.

On the 43rd minute mark, Chelsea saw their dreams of winning this match evaporate in thin air. Thanks to a perfectly timed pass from Bruno Fernandes, Brazilian player Matheus Cunha netted a beautiful goal in the top right corner of the net, completely wrong-footing the Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez.

With their opponents taking the lead, Chelsea started applying some additional pressure after the interval in search of an equalizer. Cole Palmer and Moisés Caicedo almost managed to achieve their goal but ultimately could not get the job done.

As the final whistle blew, Manchester United celebrated a hard-earned victory that keeps them firmly in contention for a top-four finish, while Chelsea were left to rue missed opportunities in a game that could have gone either way.
