Sandro Tonali joins Tottenham in blockbuster £100m transfer

Tottenham Hotspur FC has made the official confirmation of the signing of Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United in a transfer that could go as high as a club record of £100m ($133.4m).

The 26-year-old becomes one of the most expensive signings in the history of the Tottenham Hotspur FC club, as they prepare their squad ahead of the new season.

In an interview conducted on Monday after the completion of the deal, the manager of Tottenham, Roberto De Zerbi, stated how delighted he was to have signed the midfielder.

“Indeed, he is a very special player and a great signing for our team,” De Zerbi added.

This comes after the midfielder joined the Newcastle United club after being transferred from Italy.
