Osun election: INEC begins uploading results to IReV portal
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started uploading results of the ongoing Osun State gubernatorial election on its Result Viewing (IReV) portal.
The move followed voting which took place shortly after the close of voting exercise at several polling units in the state.
INEC had fixed 2:30 p.m. as the closing time for voting in the election.
As at the time of filing this report, 267 polling unit results have been uploaded on the IReV portal, accounting for 7.10 percent of total results expected.
This marks the beginning of the process of transmitting and viewing the results uploaded from the polling units as the process of collation of results of the election is being carried out.
The IReV portal enables members of the public and other stakeholders to view the results uploaded from polling units.
