Trump claims Starmer is set to step down as UK Prime Minister
President of the United States of America Donald Trump believes that Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer will be forced to leave his position due to some failures he made regarding immigration and energy policies.
This statement was made by Trump in a social media post on his Truth Social network on Sunday.
“Keir Starmer will resign as Prime Minister of The United Kingdom,” Trump wrote. “He failed badly on two very important subjects- IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY (OPEN NORTH SEA OIL!). I wish him well!”
No information was provided by the US President about the source of this statement concerning Starmer’s resignation.
Starmer is the leader of the Labour Party and became the country’s Prime Minister after his party won the British general election. His administration has been criticized on many grounds, among which are the problems with migration and energy policies.
