FG announces fresh screening process for CDCFIB job applicants
Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the start of another phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, informing those who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) organized in November 2025 to verify whether they have been screened through their online platform.
In an announcement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Major General A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), applicants were told to log in into the official recruitment website https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from June 15, 2026, to June 20, 2026, in order to find out whether they have been shortlisted for physical screening and verification of their credentials.
It was stated that those shortlisted would need to upload their credentials into the online platform and choose their preferred date and location for screening.
Applicants were told to log in using the application number obtained during the first registration period and ensure that they strictly comply with instructions given on the portal to avoid disqualification.
The Board stated once again that recruitment exercise is completely free of charge and requested applicants to be vigilant against fraudsters
“No fee should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organisation claiming to render assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venue, or final selection,” the statement stressed.
CDCFIB advised people not to believe any misleading recruitment message or link posted on social media platforms because all official information will be released through their channels of communication.
The Board reiterated its dedication to conducting a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process in line with the laid-down procedures.
The recruitment exercise currently ongoing involves the following organizations; the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Candidates are enjoined to ensure they have all their credentials ready before attending the physical screening process.
